Road trip & Roy D. Mercer

Getting ready for tomorrow's trek - loading some more stuff onto my Ipod - including Roy D. Mercer and some Prokofiev, and Beach Boys. Its pretty exciting knowing that the morning is coming, and it will be a BIG milestone event. Anybody else excited about this? In 12 years, I will be 60 - I want to be able to do this when I'm 60, Lord willing. Just random thoughts in anticipation of tomorrow's a.m. Its like I'm getting ready for a road trip!

Missed you tonight. Did you walk by yourself or go with the group today? I walked by myself yesterday and it was tough. Seemed like a lot longer than two miles more than the 16 a couple weeks ago.

It will be Sept. 15 for the 22 miler. Hope to see you then. if not, Chicago is just around the corner!

Amy, you are doing so good, why don't you come join the group, it makes it MUCH more bearable.

actually at the rez... there is shade except on the causeway and that is not that much of the run... come join us. You will be glad you did.... also Sat's route is pretty shaded also. I promise going with other people whether you are actully walking/running with them (just the fact they are in front or behind you) helps SOOOO much.

"Waddling" is a better term for what I do.
