Two Ipods, chapstick, cellphone, Kleenex?
I believe I will be taking at least two Ipod Shuffles with me to Chicago. I will be needing some reliable technology. I am already compiling my list in my head of the "necessities" I must have with me to completely be Ready for the trek. Chapstick too (no strange vaseline from a stranger on the side of the road). I have this thing about always being prepared for whatever comes my way. Fanny pack maybe to hold all my Necessities. Any ideas?

Yep, sounds like you'll need a fanny pack, all right. A good thing about the long runs is that they will give you a chance to learn exactly what you will need for the real thing.
